2D object to 3D solid
Just got started..
If I go to the 3D space, the 2D objects disappear.
and in the 2D space I can't extrude anything.
Any suggestions?


J’assai de démarre avec VariCad…
Quand je passe en 3D, mes objets 2D sont disparu … et dans l' espace 2D je ne trouve rien pour extruder l’objet.
Personne a une idée ?

Actually, you can extrude 2D profiles when being in 2D. Click on the "Extrude" icon (ESO command)... and then follow the instructions displayed in the status bar.

Please watch also Flash movies included in VariCAD. (Help > Quick Demonstration, Flash Movies). There is a movie "Profile extrusion, working with multiple files, inserting new solids into 3D space", for instance.
