How do you type in the start and end coordinates for a line?
I'm trying to make a backing plate for a printed circuit board. All the dimensions for holes, etc. are available from the PCB program.
To make the plate, all that is necessary is to take the PCB dimensions and add an x,y offset to them. It would be a snap to construct lines based on end point coordinates.

If you want to draw a line using coordinates, you can do so in the following way:
1. Use the Line icon (LIN command).
2. In the pop-up "Snaps" menu, click on the "X Y Coordinates from Keyboard" icon.
3. Enter values

.. or, you can do it as follows:
1. Use the Line icon (LIN command).
2. Snap to the grid (by pressing the spacebar while having the cursor at the required position)
2. From the pop-up "Snaps" menu select the option "Dx Dy from Last Point, Keyboard Input".
3. Enter values

... or you can use the Construction Lines etc.... Please watch the Flash movies included in VariCAD.
