I need to install in UBUNTU 9.04, can you tell me how?

I'm running on Kubuntu Jaunty

Download the .deb file for your system i.e. 32 or 64 bit. Then run this from the command line.
sudo dpkg - i varicad2009-en_1.06_i386.deb

That did the trick for me.
